IPT (Interactive Prospect Targeting) is the UK’s leading supplier of digital direct marketing solutions. A suite of consumer websites, including MyOffers.co.uk, PayFinder.com and DailyDietTracker.co.uk generate 170,000 fresh registrations each month, as such IPT is the UK’s largest online builder of targeted prospect data for email, postal, telephone and SMS marketing. The total inventory of IPT’s website members stands at 7.2 million.

Challenge

IPT processes large volumes of data on a daily basis, which include processes such as deduplication, standardization, suppression, cleansing and enhancement.
IPT was seeking a solution that would significantly reduce the time it took to process large datasets as well as being a technology that users could derive real value from without having to be a programmer or very technical in nature. IPT had clear end-to-end processes in mind that it had modelled and wished to implement.

IPT were introduced to Datactics at the Direct Marketing Show in London where its technology was being exhibited. A demonstration at the exhibition led to an evaluation of the technology onsite at IPT.
