Data Quality Scorecards
Data Quality Scorecarding enables you to keep score of your data quality levels, ensuring it is at a level of accuracy to optimally support the associated business task.
Data quality affects operational effectiveness and to quantify this it is necessary to define a relevant measure of quality. These data quality metrics can then be formed into a scorecard, a series of which over time will show how data quality is varying.
The Datactics Product Suite enables scorecards to be set up with metrics that are relevant to the business measuring the accuracy, consistency and completeness of data.
These scorecards which may then be combined with the reporting module to show how the quality of data meets conformance standards, whether or not it meets acceptable threshold levels and ultimately measure the cost of data quality to the business.
Once the relevant measures of quality to the business have been determined a data quality project will be configured to be run on the dataset. This project set up within FlowDesigner can profile and analyze the data accordingly. The output is available in a variety of formats including graphical and XML.
