Feb 2011: Datactics Announces New Strategic Partnership with BT Ireland Business Solutions
Datactics, a global leader in data quality and BT, a global provider of communications solutions and IT services have entered into a business partnership. The partnership is celebrating its first successful sale to a BT client Government Agency.
In light of recent legislation on Data Protection and Freedom of Information, BT has sought the consultative advice and services of Datactics on best practice for its client base.
Following devolution of justice and policing on 12 April 2010 the Department of Justice (DOJ), has enforced external standards to meet the requirements of current legislation on Data Protection, Freedom of Information and public records. Organisations and agencies must show due diligence and a duty of care for data quality within their administration.
The new partnership between Datactics and BT addresses the data quality needed for regulatory compliance with a powerful suite of software and services as well consultation on best practice and external standards. BT has the scope and reach and is seamlessly bringing together communications and IT services securely to its clients.
Datactics and BT worked with the Government Agency to provide proof of due diligence with data protection. This has provided an environment where Agency staff can access accurate data quickly and easily leading to increased fraud prevention, improved work flow and ensures its continued high standard of public service.
Datactics continues to be seen as the leading knowledge and service provider for legislation requirements for Data Quality in Northern Ireland and beyond. This new partnership sale is anticipated to be the first of many for Datactics and BT as the duo combine skills and services to provide cutting edge technology to the largest client base of Managed Services in the UK and Ireland.
