Jan 2008: Datactics Technology Launched in South Africa

Bateleur, the leading IT resource supplier to the financial services industry in South Africa launched Datactics technology at breakfast seminars in Johannesburg and Capetown.

The breakfast seminars were held in luxurious venues namely the Palazzo Hotel at Montecasino on Monday 26 November and the Two Oceans Aquarium on Wednesday 28 November. Datactics’ ability to manage high volumes of enterprise wide data such as finance, product as well as name and address across multiple computing resources was welcomed by its audience, whose companies face increased competition, costs and regulations.

The events were successful, attracting key decision makers from a wide range of industries and Government Authorities including Finance, Insurance, Credit Rating Agencies, Debt Collecting Agencies, Telecoms, Anti-Corruption Agencies and Local and The Provincial Government. Many high profile organizations were in attendance such as BankServ, Deliotte, British American Tobacco and Vodacom.

Mark Chapman, Datactics’ Business Development Manager presented an enlightening product demonstration to the audience. The presentation promoted the product’s unique features such as its ability to process enterprise wide data, scalability and grid enabled computing which appealed to a broad spectrum of industries.  In addition the demonstration highlighted Datactics’ applicability to solving real data issues such as compliance, money laundering, data migration, mergers and acquisitions and many more. Delegates noted its user friendly interface and powerful nature designed to analyze, re-engineer and match high volumes of disparate data accurately and effortlessly.
