Terex is an acquisitive company with databases located all over the world. As they acquired more business units their data became more complicated. Spend data was not able to be analyzed correctly or in a timely manner because the data was not consolidated. Also data was non-standardized and full of duplications and inconsistencies. Terex wanted to streamline an accurate and consistent flow of data within its global organization.

The Solution

Datactics implemented a fully integrated web enabled Data Quality Firewall and File Validation tool. This allowed eCost coordinators worldwide to upload their files for auditing at anytime of the day at will, enabling a faster turnaround of remotely validated and uploaded business unit data. To maintain an ongoing high level of data quality, Datactics cleanses, standardizes and deduplicates supplier spend data in an automated manner.
