John Mulcahy, Chairman
John Mulcahy has been Chairman since 2004. John Mulcahy trained as an accountant with Ernst & Young in South Africa, and subsequently worked in media (Reuters, Far Eastern Economic Review) and in investment banking in Asia, principally Hong Kong and Greater China (Citicorp, Union Bank of Switzerland, Credit Agricole). In recent years he has been involved in technology transfer and in early stage investment in Northern Ireland. He is a board member of a number of technology companies.
Jon Brooks, Chief Executive Officer
Jon Brooks joined in early 2008 from Lagan, a global leader in local government enterprise case management solutions and a successful Datactics reseller. Prior to Lagan, he was responsible for Geac’s worldwide library solutions division, a leading provider of information management solutions to national, public, academic, corporate and special libraries in more than 20 countries. He drove over 300 sales worldwide with the launch of a new product. A Chartered Accountant with over 25 years senior management experience in the IT industry, Jon has a track record in developing world class businesses.
Sarah Bearder, Chief Technology Officer
Sarah Bearder, MA (Cantab), is a co-founder of Datactics. Sarah is responsible for the technical aspect of our vision and direction, building innovation into the product roadmap and the evolution of specialist methodologies for handling large volumes and complex data processes. Before setting up Datactics, Sarah developed a series of large scale corporate database solutions in various sectors. She has extensive experience from her tenure as an independent computer application consultant and developer having worked in offshore banking, legal practices, forensic engineering and accounting firms.
Jens Rasch, Director of Development
Dr Jens Rasch is a co-founder of Datactics. Jens is responsible for development of the core data quality platform software including the algorithms and connectivity.
Dr Rasch was until recently a lecturer in Applied Mathematics at Queen's University Belfast. As a prize winning and published physicist, he is an academic of significant standing. At Cambridge, he completed his PhD at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics. He has extensive computer skills and knowledge and is expert in both the academic and commercial applications of IT.
Jamie Andrews, Chief Financial Officer
Jamie Andrews joined Datactics in 2008 with responsibility for overseeing financial and legal duties.
Jamie has extensive experience as Chief Financial Officer of venture backed software companies, previously with Lagan where he was CFO for 7 years and helped grow the company to 230 staff.
Jamie started his career with KPMG in London and Sydney, before becoming Financial Controller at BSKYB where he was responsible for the financial aspects of various new media business development activities.
Brian Odgers, VP Operations
Dr Brian Odgers leads Datactics product development, professional services and customer support functions. Brian has guided the evolution of Datactics product and service delivery and has been instrumental in helping to grow the company’s product and solution portfolio. He has extensive software experience, delivering innovative software applications throughout Europe and America. Brian published research in Artificial Intelligence and is a British Computer Society Gold Medalist for research into collaborative systems. Brian is a member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology and a Chartered Engineer.
